The Mitras LX 7204 is anew smaller LED light fixture from GHL but don’t go calling it a nano reef light. The 4-cluster LX 7204 packs all the great same functionality of the 6-cluster LX 7206 with multi-channel control, active cooling, creative secondary optics and wireless control.
However the Mitras LX 7204 has the added functionality of having a direct connection without the need for a separate controller using the GHL connect app, much like the GHL Doser 2. With the GHL Connect app you can create light schedules, connect the light to your wifi network and setup cloud access.
The one thing missing from the Mitras LX 7204 which is on the LX 7206 is the built-in display, a trade-off we’ll gladly take for the direct wireless control. Like the first LED light from GHL the Mitras LX 7204 will be available in both black or white, it’ll cost $499, suitable for roughly a 24″x 24″ footprint and a freshwater version will also be made in the future.
