Coral’s Love is a new additive from Zeovit and the first new product from the unique German reef aquarium brand in over three years. In typical Zeovit fashion the parent company Korallen-Zucht doesn’t outright tell users what’s in the bottles of Coral’s Love but it lists a bevy of benefits that we’d all love to see in our SPS, LPS and soft corals.
The description for Zeovit Corals’ Love states that it ‘deepens coloration, fast recovery from damage, increased growth rates, nourishes faded corals, and enhances biology‘ – all things we’d love to encourage in our reef tanks no matter their condition. Curiously, although not explicitly stated on the label, these are many of the benefits that we’ve enjoyed for nearly a decade from Two Little Fishies’ AcroPower but we’ve been assured that Zeovit Coral’s Love is not another blend of amino acids.
Like many other Zeovit additives the upfront cost is a little pricey starting at 25€ for a 100ml bottle but the dosage is very minimal with the directions for Coral’s Love amounting to 1ml per 100 liters/25 gallons ever couple of days. For years we’ve been deeply curious about different methods for helping corals to recover from bleaching, toxins or mechanical damage, so we’re very interested to see how Coral’s Love can live up to its promise of ‘Helps damaged corals immediately’ but since it’s rather new we’ll have to wait for stock of the new Zeovit additive to make its way to the American reef aquarium market.
