Someone was smart when thinking up the new E series heaters from Fluval/Rolf C. Hagen. Besides looking really “cool” (which is hard to find in saltwater land) these heaters brag among other things a  LCD screen built right into the side of the heater. The E series will make it easier for your to tune your aquarium to the exact temperature you want it. Sure, you might have a aquarium controller that does all of this for you, but its nice to know  you have dual temperature sensors, and temperature selection to the nearest 0.5 degree via that nifty LCD panel. These heaters are starting to pop up around the country, and we will warn you: they aren’t cheap. Coming in 4 wattages, 50, 100, 200, 300 they are priced for the “premium tier” for heaters starting at $50-$57.
