Neptune Systems has been busy releasing a series of modules including the Aqua Illumination controller that is scheduled to begin shipping this summer as well as being one of the first aquarium-related iPad apps released for Apple’s new device. While the AquaNotes iPhone app will work on the iPad, the new AquaNotes iPad app takes advantage of the big screen of the device with all the same functionality you’ve come to expect on the iPhone. Also look out for a new version of the AquaNotes app in the near future. As far as firmware, Neptune is currently in beta testing for the 4.03 firmware and as the bugs get cleaned up, the new version will be available soon. Neptune also has a new PM3 dissolved oxygen monitoring module as well as the much-anticipated WXM VorTech controller that will begin shipping out to customers next week. The VorTech module will work for either of the wireless VorTech pumps with the older WWD module or the new EcoSmart.
