The Anampses lennardi and femininus wrasses are such amazing fish that it would have been a joy to see either one of them alone at Dejong’s booth in InterZoo. Not only we were greeted by both of these fish, they were also accompanied by a fantastic, uber studly bicolor pygmy angelfish, Centropyge bicolor, which just happened to be an individual with a highly aberrant color pattern. The only thing more we could have asked for is little bit more flattering light to show off the colors of these amazingly rare reef fish specimens. The colors of the wrasses and angelfish really came through with the flash photos but the video itself is a little bit muted in it’s colors. Either way, you can take our word for it that any one of these fish would take your breath away if you saw them in person. Thanks to Dejong Marinelife for displaying these exciting rare reef fish specimens at InterZoo this year.
