Aquarama 2013, the largest aquarium event of the year will take place the end of this month in Singapore. From May 30th to June 2nd, the Asian aquarium hobby, community and industry will converge on the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center for a concentration of Asia’s best aquarium entities.
Two years ago Reef Builders was the only major aquarium new outlet to cover the happenings on the other side of the world from us and the journey was well worth the stories. At Aquarama we got our first look at the groundbreaking Mazarra LED light, Elos unveiled their Evision controller system including the Clima and Tempo accessories thereof.
Singapore being the home of many fine aquarium manufacturers made Aquarama a great place to see some of Skimz’s first Leopard inverted cone skimmers and the first eductor powered biopellet reactor. On the high tech side of things at Aquarama we first touched base with the creators of the Black Reef aquarium controller and we had a great walkthrough of the Coral Shop ProfiLine aquarium doser.
With the aquarium hobby growing pretty well all over the world, we expect even more new products and innovations by attending and covering Aquarama 2013 this year. If you can’t make it this year keep an eye on us for all the latest and greatest from the aquarium world, from the other side of the world.
