Neptune Systems has been busy bringing all the goodies they unveiled at MACNA to market and have just announced the Neptune AWM — or AquaIllumination Wireless Module — is now shipping. As we saw when we were at MACNA, the Neptune AWM will let you have full control of your AI LEDs through your Neptune controller.
The Neptune team worked with AquaIllumination to get access to your AI Vega, Hydra, and Hydra FiftyTwo lights. According to the company press release, this will give you access to individual dimming of every LED channel, along with advanced features like dawn-to-dusk control, cloud cover, lightning, and geo-based and day-of-year lighting simulation. The Neptune AWM retails for $124.95 and should start trickling into retailers this week.

Morgan Hill, CA, November 20, 2013 – Neptune Systems begins shipping the AWM – AI Wireless Module to resellers worldwide.
First debuted at MACNA 2013 in Miami, FL, the AWM continues Neptune Systems collaborative approach to device control for aquariums. Working together with C2 Development (The makers of AquaIllumination brand LED lights), Neptune Systems has created a new module for their Apex AquaController that gives customers the ability to wirelessly control up to 12 independent AI LED lights. Designed to work with the AquaIllumination Vega, Hydra, and Hydra FiftyTwo lights, this module not only allows the individual dimming of every LED channel, but also supports advanced features such as progressive sunrise and sunset, cloud cover, lightning, as well as geo-based and day-of-year lighting simulation.
