We’ve been keeping ReefStock 2014 slightly on the Down Low as to not steal too much thunder from the also-coming to Denver MACNA 2014, but nothing can hold back the American Reef Scene from coming together and enjoying its annual mid-year mile high reefing extravaganza. There’s been so many new products and happenings in development since the last MACNA, next week Saturday & Sunday, March 1 & 2 at the Denver Downtown Aquarium we’re going to be having one grand ole time.
The country’s best manufacturers descend on Denver to reveal the latest new gear, unveiling lots of new products and features, we are expecting some very exciting announcements and intimate time with really fun new devices. Ecotech Marine will be demoing Ecosmart Live’s new Vortech control feature, Neptune Systems will be handing a very few vouchers for access to beta-entry of the new Apex Fusion software and BuildMyLED’s promised to bring their new 20,000K metal halide replicating LED striplight. We will even have the pleasure of spring boarding a brand new company, Fluid Designers, and introducing their whole catalog of acrylic products.
Of course we’ll be enjoying some world class reef aquarium presentations and a roundtable discussion over the two days, and raffles prizes and sweet livestock will abound. Local coral farmers ReefKoi, The Coral Shop and Gonzo’s Coral Frags practically invented the traveling coral slinger, these guys are at shows from coast to coast every weekend and other powerhouses like Cherry Corals and ZOanthids.com will also be dishing out the hottest frags of the latest corals. And if you like to win your reef tank rather than buying it, trying to keep up with the litany of prizes we’ve been posting on the ReefStock event page will just make your head spin.
If there’s any possibility that you want to come to Denver for ReefStock next weekend, we’ve had a killer season of snow up in the mountains and we also enjoy some “new found freedoms” that the rest of the country is not yet privy to, if you follow our parlance. Denver is a beautiful, prosperous city to live in, and super fun to visit so if you want to get the lay of the land before MACNA at the end of the summer, we hope to see you at the Denver Downtown Aquarium March 1st & 2nd.
