Seachem took its sweet time releasing a coral fragging glue, Reef Glue, to the general aquarium market but now they are on the ball with a new an improved version. This weekend at MACNA in Denver Seachem will unveil a new version of Reef Glue which is billed as being 17x, seventeen times thicker than its predecessor.
Simply called Reef Glue, the new formulation of Seachem’s sticky stuff is thicker, as in more viscous. Where the previous formulation set in 20 seconds, perhaps this new version will fasten corals to their new frag plug or reef rock base in ten seconds or less.
The new version of Seachem’s Reef Glue will still come in the same 20 gram, 0.7 ounce size with a separate applicator but we’ll have to wait until this weekend to discover how this glue really compares to its predecessor. [Seachem]
