Polyp Lab has a new coral dip called Reef Primer which is billed as being “premium” at treating all kinds of undesirables for the coral aquarium. Reef Primer is a blend of various salts which are said to be effective in removing Zoanthid Eating Nudibranchs, Montipora Eating Nudibranchs, Acropora Eating Flatworms, Bristleworms, Zoanthid Eating Spiders Red Flatworms, Filamentous Hair Algae, Rapid Tissue Necrosis, Slow Tissue Necrosis, Bacterial Infections and More.
What makes Reef Primer “premium” is that it is hard on the pests and parasites while being gentle on corals, without triggering a stress response from the dipping procedure. Interestingly, Reef Primer is only a five minute dip, yet it can still really tear up the AEFW, red bugs and nudies as good or better than other dips on the market.
Reef Primer is sold in two sizes, a 45g conatiner called Reef-Primer Shot and 180g called Reef-Primer) suggested retail will be 16.99 USD for the SHOT and 49.99 USD for the Reef-Primer. Reef Primer is debuting at Aquarama in Singapore next weekend and should become available for the wider aquarium market shortly thereafter. [Polyp Lab]
