Reader’s Choice Awards: Vote on the best lighting products of 2009

The technological advances in the hobby each year are fascinating to look back at and reef aquarium lighting is no exception. 2009 brought many new improved lighting on the market. Despite the fall of PFO and the LED patent war from earlier this year, LED lighting is coming on strong in a variety of flavors. New T5 HO lamps continue to enter the market and hybrid systems of metal halide, T5 and LED continue to crop up. We are hoping to see more new advances in LED, OLED and plasma lighting over the next decade but lets take a look at some of the top lighting products from 2009 first. Below are two categories for you to vote on main lighting fixtures and bulbs, ballasts, supplemental lighting.
