If you’ve been at all interested in getting into the marine ornamental trade, or want to move beyond your retail job and into the wholesale side of things, premier Australian coral importer/wholesaler Route 66 Marine has just posted a job opening. Having visited Route 66 on many occasions we can tell you that they run a nice operation and they import some of the nicest corals in the US. The Rainbow Cycloseris we posted a couple of days ago came from there as well as many other iconic coral specimens. Owner Eric Caamano and manager Gary White are both long time hobbyist and personal friends of ours and you will be stunned by the walking reef encyclopedia that they call Mesocosm. If you are at all interested in joining a company that is going places, contact Eric today because they will probably be inundated with applications by the end of the weekend. Follow the break for the posting and a sampling of the corals you’ll get to work with if Route picks you as the newest member of their team.
We are a wholesaler of mainly coral from Australia and Indonesia. We are slowly expanding to Fish and Inverts so we will be needing to add to the Route 66 Marine Team. If you are close to Gardena, LAX or Los Angeles County area this is where we are located.
We are looking for the applicant to possess some or all below:

Knowledge of different coral species and grades
Knowledge of Fish and Inverts
Customer Service and Organizational skills
Prior experience in the Ornamental IndustryWe would be willing to train the right person if qualified. This is an hourly position with commission. Interested parties please send a resume to [email protected]
Thanks, Eric Caamano
