Hydor USA and Aquatronica have entered into an agreement for Hydor USA to offer the full selection of Aquatronica products for North America. The Hydor and Aquatronica union was even seen at MACNA in Orlando with the Aquatronica products being shown in Hydor’s booth. We’re happy to see some more Italian technology being made available this side of the pond and look forward to seeing the products on the shelf here in North America.
While no specific distributor agreements are in place yet, existing Hydor distributors will have the ability to purchase any of Aquatronica’s products from Hydor USA. Hydor also plans on offering the Aquatronica products in a new Dealer Direct program for those pet stores and maintenance businesses that want access to the Aquatronica line of products.
With the news and potentially competing products with pump controllers, no changes are expected with Hydor continuing to offer both the Hydor Wavemaker 2 and Wavemaker 4 in addition to the Aquatronica Koralia Wave Module that both work with the 12V Controllable Koralia Pumps.
All Customer service issues including tech support and warranty issues for Aquatronica products sold through Hydor USA will be handled out of their offices in Sacramento.
