Coral Restoration Foundation’s Ken Nedimyer named a CNN Hero

We never get tired hearing about the work Ken Nedimyer is doing with the Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF) and recently, Ken was featured as a CNN Hero by the cable news giant for the reef restoration projects they are taking on off the coast of Florida. Already reaching the milestone of growing over 25,000 staghorn and elkhorn coral frags in the CRF nurseries, Nedimyer has an even more ambitious project on tap. Within the next five years, the Coral Restoration Foundation plans to grow and transplant 50,000 corals in the Keys, which he says is the largest effort of its kind in Florida and the Caribbean. Kudos to Ken and the CRF team for this great exposure and keep up the great work.
