Tea Yi Kai aka LemonLemon is one of the most prolific aquarium writers the web has ever seen, and we are fortunate that he decide to hang his hat within the ‘pages’ of Reef Builders. Being from Singapore and having turned 21 last week, Lemon has been neck deep in his mandatory military conscription with his native country, which is why Mr. Yi Kai has been away from the keyboard for a little while.
We’ve gotten lots of requests as to the whereabouts of Tea Yi Kai’s popular contributions and we just wanted to quell the anxiety that our citrusy friend is well and good and will be back once he fulfills his duties as a citizen of Singapore. Meanwhile, we’d like to revisit the best of Lemon’s very prolific aquarium web writing career.
Although best known for his rare and exotic fish contributions, Tea Yi Kai’s talents are much broader reaching than that, spanning everything from reef tanks to neat corals and unusual invertebrates. We’ve pulled 11 of Lemon’s top posts, our favorites at least, and it was refreshing to see so many neat stories which are as fresh now as the day he posted them. Come back to us soon Lemon Tea Yi Kai and if you’ve got some favorites that we missed, let us know in the comments.
