The GHL Mitras Lightbar is getting smaller and is now available for nano tanks. Additionally, the Mitras Lightbar is also be made in a deep actinic color for those looking for a deeper blue color in their reef aquarium.
The nano Mitras Lightbars are designed for 40 cm (around 15.75 in.) or 50 cm (around 19.75 in.) tanks tanks to bring the total options for length on the Lightbar to 13.
The Lightbars are designed with a blend of Cree, Osram and SemiLEDs designed to provide 60.000 hours of use in the aquariums setting. According to GHL, the Lightbar delivers at least 122 lumen per watt from its white LEDs and incorporate 120 degree optics.
With the addition of the new deep actinic color, the Lightbar is now available in four colors: daylight (fresh water), ocean blue (fresh water and saltwater), actinic (saltwater) and deep actinic (saltwater).
The Lightbar was designed with control in mind and has the ability to connect with a Profilux or similar controller to control and dim 5-7 LED channels for dawn-to-dusk lighting, customizing light output and color, or even more robust simulations like thunderstorms, rain, clouds and tropical twilight.
The nano Mitras Lightbars are available now in the GHL online store and the Deep Actinic will be available in October.
