This weekend on Saturday, World Wide Corals will have their first and only public showing of the coral farm they’ve been working to build and grow for nearly a year. World Wide Corals already cranks out a ton of corals and frags out of their main show room but they’ve realized the need for a separate “off-limits” area where corals can be left to grow and cultured on a scale and in a way which is much more conducive than the retail show room.
To celebrate the grand opening of their coral farm, World Wide has invited Julian Sprung, Mike Paletta and myself, Jake Adams, to come and talk reef with the attendees. Julian and Mike will be giving formal presentations meanwhile I will have an open unscripted Reef Talk Q & A session about anything you want.
To celebrate and kick off the new coral growing venture World Wide will be offering deep discounts on dry goods and livestock, and there will be special store hours open until 10pm. Since the special event is an occasion to celebrate the new coral farm opening, World Wide Corals will also be raising money for PIJAC to help the aquatic defense fund which is working hard to protect our right to keep, grow and share aquarium corals.
But who are we kidding? This is really just a great reason for reefers to get together, no conference or real business to attend to, just a bunch of passionate reefers getting together so we can talk reef and generally have a marine aquarium communion. We can’t wait to see what the WWC Farm looks like and if you live anywhere the greater Orlando area, we hope to see you at the reef shop this Saturday.
