Slim Skim Nano from Hydor spied next to it’s larger brother

The Slim Skim Nano is a beautiful new smaller iteration of the Slim Skim protein skimmer from Hydor. Whatever our impressions from the promotional images we posted a while back, the Slim Skim Performer in it’s nominal and nano iterations are absolutely gorgeous and will be well worth the ballpark $149 and $99 prices when they start shipping to the US. We hand some hands on time with these and they not only built from high quality acrylic, they are beautifully and elegantly designed. Full hands on photo shoot will be forthcoming.

    Yeah the surface skimming feature is very nice and really adds an extra level of performance. It can only draw from the surface so it”has” to work.

    Looks simular in appearance to the Juwel Rekord bioflow chamber. which I have in my Quarantine tank. This will be an ideal addtition if I can fit it under that hood of the Rekord and will blend in beautifully. (fingers crossed)
