Purely H2O combines RO/DI flow restrictor and flush valve into one small, ingenious product

21

Every so often you come across a simple, yet ingenious product that makes the reef geek inside you just smile and glow and the nifty combination RO/DI flow restrictor and flush valve by Purely H2O is just genius. Available in 50, 75, 100 and 150 GPD models, they aren’t too much bigger than a regular in-line flow restrictor you normally see on the market and it eliminates the need for the typical flow restrictor and the separate branch for a flush valve to keep your RO membrane clean and happy. Best part about it is the price – $12.95 is the MSRP for this little beauty. Just genius!

h2o: Yup looks almost identical except for the handle.

There’s also one place (unfortunately I can’t recall the website) that sells a periodically flushes for you automatically (something like 20 seconds every hour)

Well as an owner of a Frankensteined, hand-me down, RO/DI that works just fabulous…I don’t normally scope out the entire RO/DI unit accessory market and this was a new one to me so it made my day. Even if its been around, me still likes.
