Nano Dreambox from Royal Exclusiv are drool-worthy complete filtration sumps

By on May 03, 2012

The Nano Dreambox is Royal Exclusiv’s miniature version fo their dreambox marine aquarium sump, an all in one filtration solution which includes everything but the kitchen sink. Royal Exclusiv Nano Dreambox is a white ABS plastic sump with a single clear pane, and the low output waterproof LEDs help you to see everything inside including the bubble reducing intake, dual filter socks, skimmer compartment with adjustable height, a dedicated sump section with hookups for the return pump and lids for every compartment to reduce noise and salt creep.

As expected, the Royal Exclusiv Nano Dreambox are highly customizable with all sorts of features and sensors, and in 22 different sizes. The Nano Dreambox is from nano but with Royal Exclusiv’s trademark attention to detail and finish, it doesn’t matter what they’re called – they’re hot and we want one! If you have to ask how much these cost, then you (and we) probably can’t afford one but we we’ll be making up for it by doing a lot of window shopping at InterZoo 2012 here in a couple weeks time.

That looks so sick. I imagine those LED’s would somehow promote algal growth in there though…?

as long as Proline still a distributor, we will never see this type of sump in the usa market.

    That looks AMAZING!

If it did, I’m sure it would only be beautiful algae.

    No refugium?

  • JakeAdams

Refugiums are for suckers – real reefs don’t use them

    Whoa!

Doesn’t change the fact that Fuges are for suckers :D

The mostly enclosed top would cut down on evaporation, but would also trap heat. This wouldn’t work for those that need to arrange their sump front to back as only the one pane is clear.

Seriously.  This thing just oozes quality and expense.   Color me jealous.

  • sdcfish

Hmmm. I am putting a new holding system together for sps/lps and was considering a refugium. You would use rock instead? Awesome sump shown here by the way!

  • sdcfish

Ditto that! I want one too!!!!

  • JakeAdams

I would use nothing – rock just harbors pestesses and nutrients and reduces flow. Refugiums are an entirely different type of tank that rarely do anything to help the main display aquarium.
