Recently the new Kamihata HOB skimmer have been popping up everywhere in Japan. Although it doesn’t look as awesome as the Mame Nano Skimmer, it’s still a sexy skimmer. The skimmer is airdriven, which might be a downside for some, but adds the benefit of less heat creating equipment in the tank. The skimmer also incorporates a HOB filter complete with a filter pad and room for some activated carbon. The skimmer retails for 4,280 yen which is about $52 which certainly isn’t bad with the airpump included. More pictures after the break.
