The AI Nano LED which just started shipping about a month will soon get a price drop and a second color option. It is no secret that the majority of LED reef aquarium lights suffer from too much emphasis on the blue end of the spectrum, and the standard cool white and blue LED pairing results in an overall frosty looking reef tank. To this end AI will be releasing a variant of the AI Nano LED which uses warm white LEDs to better compliment the blue and royal blue LEDs. Also, the AI Nano will soon be selling for $299 to better fall in line with the new pricing of the AI Sol and the forthcoming AI “Phoenix” LED.
