When first received word of this really cool multichip LED just two months ago we couldn’t wait to see this fixture straight of a spaceship in reality. Luckily our wishes have been granted and we were able to get our hands on a fixture at MACNA. The Blue Moon Aquatic’s P100 fixtures are of superb build quality and are manufactured to order in Germany. The exposed hardware gives a really nice industrial look and the lenses are adjustable to personal preference. Each fixture is powered by a 100w multichip LED and is cooled by water-cooling and two fans, keeping the multichip LED at optimal temperature. A LCD shows the temperature of the fixture and the LED’s in a quick glance. Currently the fixtures are not yet controllable, but we suspect controllable units will release down the line. The Blue Moon Aquatic’s P100 fixtures are also surprisingly light, weighting around 8lbs. The P100 will come in a 15K and 460nm version and will retail at $1,199.00. Keep reading for more pictures.
