You gotta give it up to Reef Angel founder Roberto Imai for the pace of progress he’s made getting his open source aquarium controller to communicate first with the Ecosmart controller for Ecotech’s Vortech pumps and now with the Radion XR30w LED light. We haven’t heard a peep from Reef Angel since the first announcement of their RF expansion module but apparently there’s been plenty of headway in coding in the right pick-up lines for each of the Radion’s LED color channels. Hopefully with the Reef Angel blazing a trail in getting communication with the Radion LED this will put some pressure on Neptune Systems to get an update out for their WXM Apex module to do the same.
