Seachem has been giving a facelift to the packaging of its entire product line, refreshing the look and feel of the marine and freshwater lines as well as unifying them all under a common branding design. The latest product to get a new wrapper is Seachem’s marine substrates which are now available in a smaller and much more nano-reef tank friendly 3.5 Kg, 7.7 pound bag.
The new 7.7 pound bags of Pearl Beach, Gray Coast and Meridian marine aquarium substrates are ‘cut-to-fit’ for smaller aquariums with each package appearing to be about the footprint of a ten gallon aquarium. Pearl Beach is a small grade aragonite sand, Meridian is the sugar fine oolitic aragonite offering and our favorite, Gray Coast, is a dark grey calcite offering which is just begging to be used in a volcanic-themed marine or reef aquarium.
