If you’re part of the two maybe three people in the market for a DC propeller water pump that can push 12,000 gallons per hour you’re in luck because the final design of the HydroWizard can now flow up to 15,000 gallons per hour. Apparently the ‘carboplatics’ used in the construction of the internals allows the high perforamnce DC motor to push an additional 20% more water flow.

Additionally we’ve heard that the clear housing helps to make the pump look ‘smaller’ although that doesn’t seem like quite an issue if you are putting the HydroWizard in a tank that needs 15,000 gallons per hour of flow. We’re still looking at 1100 Euros to preorder just one HWm and after the break you can see how this pump looks next to the Vortech MP60, the next biggest propeller pump on the aquarium market.
