EcoTech marine, maker of all things wonderful, or at least that’s what most aquarists will tell you is reportedly working on a new secret project. The project involves something for the reef aquarium (big surprise there) and should be as popular as their newer products including the Vortech MP20. What is it exactly? There had been some talk of a “larger style pump” which was to be slated above the MP40 nicknamed the MP80, but that doesnt make any sense, the MP40 can handle very large tanks and the vortech isn’t targeting commercial applications. So we do know it isn’t a MP80, cone style skimmer, or some new aquarium controller. That is what the rumor mill is cranking out, but hey we just report the reef news here.
