ATB has started to get fancy with design and comestic changes to their new Econo 840 cone skimmer. This new design seen pictures includes a seamless molded cone body, polished CNC work, skimmate drain valve, and removable base. With the advent of the molded cone body which is attached to the base of the skimmer with screws which allows you to access the bubble plate and chamber for easier cleaning. This has the same specs as the normal 840 cone skimmer with a 8″ x 14″ footprint, a 8″ base diameter and a overall height of 21″. The pump that is being used is the Mini Airstar which is based off of the Sicce PSK 2500 taking up to 21 watts. The white color seen is a special order color.
