Just last week were thrilled to share the first great photograph of the almost completely unknown Lipogramma robinsi, the first specimen to be captured in a live photograph. This week the high rolling fish collectors at Blue Harbor have put together a video of this deepwater basslet from Curacao shortly after shipping to Japan.
The little Robins’s Lipogramma appears a little worse for wear compared to its first head shot but otherwise in good health. Hopefully Koji & Co. can quickly condition this little Lipogramma robinsi into shape so we can see more of this deepwater basslet treasure swimming happily around a little reef tank.
