Revoreef is a brand new line of aquarium additives spanning mineral replacement, fish treatments and biological boosters as well as a complete all in one aquarium from Qian Hu corporation. Qian Hu is a name that may not be familiar to western aquarists, much less reefers, as they are they are the Chinese equivalent of Tetra or Hagen, especially in the freshwater aquarium world in China.
Qian Hu’s Revoreef line just might break through the aquarium cultural divide with an all in one aquarium loaded with thoughtful and easy to use features at an affordable price. The Revoreef line includes a basic salt mix called Revoreef Marine Salt and an enriched salt formula called Revoreef Marine Crystal.
Other additives in the Revoreef line also include Revoreef Bio-Rx, an herbal health conditioner purported to treat certain fish diseases which is invertebrate safe, a marine life booster called Reef Essence, and ReefStart the Bacteria starter. For the health of corals Revoreef also includes a coral color supplement called Intense and a coral growth supplement called Nutricore.
We don’t expect that Qian Hu will be invading American or European store shelves with Revoreef any time soon, but the RevoReef all in one aquarium certainly has some compelling features to it, including a multichannel LED + T5 lighting system, and a skimmerless-protein removing technology simply called HydroPure.
