We recently came across this creative new campaign by MTV aimed at reducing ocean waste, with a truly climactic result. Every year tons of plastic waste enters the ocean which can take centuries to decompose.
As a species, we are f*ucking the ocean, and the problem is only getting worse. Marine life can become entangled in nets, and animals are eating floating bags and plastic particles gorging themselves until they die.
There is no time like the present to stop what you’re doing and remind yourself every day to reduce your personal dependence on plastics. Don’t fuck the ocean, just do it with yourself!
