The Reef Builders staff does it’s fair share of traveling to marine aquarium events around the country but this weekend we’ll be serving double duty with Brian at MAX and myself at BAR. This Saturday and Sunday, the third Marine Aquarium Expo will take place at the Orange County fairgrounds and our assistant editor Brian Blank will be walking the show, looking out for new products and bringing you up to the minute coverage of what the Blue Collar Reefer thinks is cool. If you are a product manufacturer or livestock vendor, keep an eye out for this guy and make sure to point out your newest gear and hottest corals. MAX has a more potent speaker line up this year including RB contributors Justin Credabel on his obsession with Goniopora and Adam Blundell who will speak on Fluorescence in the Aquarium. Meanwhile I will be in the Bay Area, sneaking around behind the scenes of
the Steinhart Aquarium and taking the better part of the ReefStock LED lighting demo on the road to present to the Bay Area Reefers. The BAR meeting will be at 1pm Saturday afternoon at Chabot College. It should be an exciting time of Reefateering on the West Coast and Brian and I hope to meet and visit with many RB readers this weekend.
