The Local Fish Store is a really important part of our regional aquarium communities and we don’t think the LFS gets nearly enough love and appreciation. For the last few years we’ve personally made a point to visit several of our favorite LFS on Small Business Saturday and today we’re excited to announce the evolution of this tradition which we are calling #LFSSATURDAY.
To kick off this celebration of the brick n’ mortar physical aquarium shop that you can actually walk into and visit, we’ve put together a social media contest to encourage everyone to visit their LFS this Saturday, Nov. 23rd, 2018. We’re going to be giving away two ClariseaGen2 automatic filter rolls, an Sk-3000 and Sk-5000, and one AquaIllumination Nero5 water pump – some of our favorite aquarium devices of 2018.
To be entered to win one of these prizes for #LFSSATURDAY all you have to do is the following:
- Visit your LFS this Saturday 11/23/19
- Buy something, anything
- Share a picture of it on Instagram by 12pm Sunday (PST)
- Make sure to use the #LFSSaturday hashtag
- Save your receipt (for verification)
The winner will be chosen completely based on the quality, hilarity or creativity of their image on Instagram. We’ll be personally shipping the prizes so the contest is limited to the lower 48 US states. Prizes aside we hope you will join us in celebrating the local fish stores in your area and we really look forward to seeing your submitted images.
